Getting ready for tea time
The water is boiling and the tea sandwiches are on a doily just a waiting for tea time. The cookies are in an antique bowl by the tea pot. These thin china cups I bought at the thrift store are just as delicate and pretty to drink out of as they are to look at. Here’s my favorite verse for afternoon tea:
"..whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8
For these two drawings I used oil crayons
